A company is only as good as its people – and The Remodeling Company employs some of the most skilled, dedicated professionals in the industry. Here are the team members who have helped make The Remodeling Company the highly recommended, respected company it is today.

Gary Moffie, CGR, (Certified Graduate Remodeler), CAPS (Certified Aging in Place Specialist), combines his passion for craftsmanship and creativity with keen business acumen to transfer older homes into beautiful new living spaces. An honors business graduate of Babson College, he understands that accurate budgeting and detailed project management are as important as fine craftsmanship to ensure smooth running, successful remodels.

Steve Daigneau
Project Supervisor

Steve began his career in carpentry at the age of 15. He has over 25 years of experience in the industry, and has been with The Remodeling Company since its inception in 1998. His specialties include finish trim and built-ins. Outside interests include astronomy and mountain biking. Steve lives in New Hampshire with his wife and daughter.

Mike Giordano
Staff Carpenter

After graduating from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School in 1996, Mike went to work for the family construction company with his father and grandfather until joining The Remodeling Company family in 2000.  He obtained his Construction Supervisor License in 2006. Mike and his wife, Jamie, have a daughter Kelsey, and two sons, Mike Jr., and Jason. When not working he enjoys spending time with his family, coaching hockey, and golfing.

Tony Giordano
Project Supervisor

Learning how to use tools at age 12 from his grandfather, Tony was doing small jobs by
age 17. In 1986 he started a construction company with his father and earned his
Construction Supervisor License in 1987. Later Tonyʼs two sons, Mike and Steven came
on board. Then in 2000, Tony, Mike and Steven joined The Remodeling Company. While
his five sons were growing up, Tony coached them in little league and hockey. Now in
his spare time Tony enjoys playing with his seven grandchildren. He also enjoys cooking
because he loves to eat!

Steven Giordano
Staff Carpenter

Steven graduated from Shawsheen Valley Technical High School, Carpentry Class of 1999. After working for his fatherʼs construction business for a year, he joined The Remodeling Company in 2000. Steven enjoys and specializes in doing finish work, custom built-ins and installing cabinetry. Steven and his wife, Devony, have three children: Taylor, Jake and Ryan. Hobbies include playing hockey, riding his ATV and dirt bike, and hanging out with his kids.

Dave Mitchell
Project Supervisor

Prior to joining The Remodeling Company in 2008, Dave owned and operated his own construction business for 17 years. His residential experience includes the construction of high-end homes, historical renovation projects, additions, and remodeling kitchens and bathrooms. In addition to his residential experience Dave has extensive experience in commercial construction. Dave has a woodworking shop and has built custom cabinets, entertainment centers and bookshelves. He enjoys his New Hampshire cottage and coaching girls softball.

Melissa Smith
Production Coordinator

As her title suggests, Melissa is responsible for coordinating schedules and logistical activities, facilitating priorities between the office and the field, and maintaining the paperwork related to each project. As the liaison between the carpenters, subs, vendors, suppliers and clients, she researches and disseminates information to the proper channels to manage work flow. A UMass Amherst graduate in Media Communications & Journalism, Melissa has worked in publishing, advertising and public relations in London, San Francisco and Boston. Prior to joining The Remodeling Company, Melissa was an original member of two start-up companies, assisting in the creation and development of corporate identity, office design, company systems and business procedures. A keen interest in residential design, coupled with her experience, led her to TRC where she helped develop its infrastructure while learning the basics of the industry.

Tam Tang
Staff Carpenter

Tam was born and raised in Vietnam, and came to the U.S. with his family in the early 80ʼs. He was a carpenter in Vietnam and carried over his expertise when he moved to the states. With more than 30 years of carpentry experience and a specialty in finish work, Tam has a precise eye for detail and keen mechanical skills that are an invaluable asset to The Remodeling Company. In his spare time, Tam enjoys spending time with his family and friends.
